Endocrinologist Endocrinologists are doctors trained to work with patients having hormone-related diseases. General Surgeon A general surgeon is a physician who has been educated, experienced and trained in the diagnosis and preoperative, operative, and postoperative management of patient health care. They are highly trained in various medical fields such as emergency, and intensive care, immunology, metabolism, nutrition, shock, and wound healing. General surgeons basically perform surgical operations of the major parts of the human body which involves endocrine system, gastrointestinal tract, liver, large intestine. They also perform the surgeries which are done through small incisions on body parts. Obstetrics deals with the care of the unborn baby, pregnant women, the labor or delivery and the immediate period following childbirth. The obstetrics focuses on pregnant women who have permanent health problems or unusual issues that arise during pregnancy.
