Cosmetologist Cosmetologists are trained to perform cosmetic treatments to the hair, skin, and nails. A cosmetologist is someone who is an expert in the care of hair and makeup as well as skincare and beauty products. They can also offer other services such as coloring, extensions, perms and straightening. Cosmetologists help their clients improve on or acquire a certain look by applying advance trending aesthetic applications. Hair stylists often style hair for weddings, and other special events in addition to routine hair styling.
Dermatologist Dermatologists are doctors trained to treat issues with skin. They are trained in the science of dermatology, which is concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the skin, hair and nails. Dermatologists typically provide treatment for skin cancer, warts, cosmetic filler injections, hair removal with laser, hair transplantation, laser therapy for birthmarks and skin disorders, tattoo removal, acne, sun damage, liposuction, radiation therapy, vitiligo surgery, and allergy testing.
Endocrinologist Endocrinologists are doctors trained to work with patients having hormone-related diseases. These doctors are trained to diagnose and manage diseases that affect the glands (adrenal glands, hypothalamus, ovaries and testicles, pancreas, parathyroid, pineal, pituitary, thymus, and thyroid) and the hormones. The endocrinologist helps in restoring hormone balance in the impacted gland. As part of their work, endocrinologists commonly treat diabetes, osteoporosis, menopause, metabolic disorders, thyroid diseases, some cancers (including thyroid cancer, pituitary tumor, parathyroid cancer, and adrenocortical carcinoma), short stature, and infertility.
General Physician General Physicians are highly trained specialists who provide the non-surgical treatment to adult patients, particularly who are referred to them by other doctors, most commonly by the patient's general practitioner. They care for the most difficult, serious or complex medical problems and continue to see the patient until these problems have been stabilized or resolved completely. General physicians are trained to carry out a variety of medical procedures for the diagnosis and management of patients with infectious and tropical diseases like HIV, tuberculosis, Kala Azar, Malaria, Cholera, and Diarrhea. They also undertake the teaching and administrative responsibilities which includes supervision and training to medical staff, planning medical programs, management of hospital pharmacy, and proper monitoring of medical activities in the hospital.
Gynaecologist Gynecologists are trained to diagnose and cure illness related to the female reproductive system. Gynecologists specialize in women's reproductive health including female body organs: vagina, uterus, ovaries and the breasts. It is advised for teenage women to visit a gynecologist yearly for a checkup. Gynecologists deals with a broad range of problems, including menstruation, pregnancy and childbirth, obstetrics, and fertility issues, hormone disorders, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and others.
Internal Medicine Specialist Internal-medicine-specialist (also called internists, or physicians) is a professional who manages multisystem disease conditions particularly complexed. They treat dangerous acute illnesses affecting multiple organ systems at the same time in a single patient and may manage multiple long-term diseases or comorbidities that a single patient may have. Internists focus on adult medicine, training, and special study focusing on the prevention and therapy of adult diseases. Pediatrician A pediatrician is a doctor trained and educated in diagnosing and treating childhood conditions and illness. These conditions and illness may range from minor to serious diseases. They are trained in managing the mental, physical and behavioral health issues in children from birth until the age of 18. Duties and responsibilities of pediatrician involve conducting medical examinations, establishing treatment plans, developing diagnoses, communicating with caregivers and parents, providing referrals to specialists, and maintaining patient records. They also provide immunizations according to school or medical guidelines.
Psychologist A psychologist is a medical doctor who trained in diagnosis, and treatment of a mental illness including schizophrenia, behavioral problems, learning difficulties, depression, and anxiety. Psychologists provide a wide range of treatments including psychological treatment also called psychotherapy or talking therapy, medication, behavioral, cognitive, cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, humanistic, and psychodynamic therapy. A psychologist may also use the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) criteria to diagnose the mental disease.
Trichologist Trichology is a part of dermatology which deals with the study of hair and scalp. Trichologists are trained in the diagnosing and treating hair & scalp related problems such as hair breakage, hair loss, oily scalp, etc. The Trichologists perform a hair test know as "Hair Analysis". Some trichologists are also expert in advising people with hair-related problems like hair loss (alopecia) and hair pulling disorder (trichotillomania).
Venereologist Venereology is the branch of medical practice dealing with the study and treatment of disorders that are transmitted through sexual contact. Venereologist is the doctor educated and trained in the diagnosing and treating venereal or sexually transmitted diseases. The venereal diseases include fungal, viral, parasitic, and bacterial infections. Some of the diseases treated by venereologist are candidiasis, human immunodeficiency virus infection, gonorrhea, syphilis, human papillomavirus infection, genital scabies, and herpes simplex.
