Child Psychologist Child psychologists are trained to work with assess and treating development issues with children and adolescents. They work with children and their families to issues including abuse, sexual abuse, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, adjustment disorder, autism, obsessive compulsive disorder, and phobias. Such development issues can arise in children from various life changes including divorce of parents, death in family, and change in school.
General Physician General Physicians are highly trained specialists who provide the non-surgical treatment to adult patients, particularly who are referred to them by other doctors, most commonly by the patient's general practitioner. They care for the most difficult, serious or complex medical problems and continue to see the patient until these problems have been stabilized or resolved completely. General physicians are trained to carry out a variety of medical procedures for the diagnosis and management of patients with infectious and tropical diseases like HIV, tuberculosis, Kala Azar, Malaria, Cholera, and Diarrhea. They also undertake the teaching and administrative responsibilities which includes supervision and training to medical staff, planning medical programs, management of hospital pharmacy, and proper monitoring of medical activities in the hospital.
Neurologist A neurologist is a doctor who practices in neurology. Neurology is the science related to the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the nervous system. A neurologist treats disorders affecting nerves, brain, spinal cord and cerebrovascular diseases, such as stroke, headache, movement disorders, such as Parkinson's disease, infections of the brain and nervous system, Alzheimer's disease, seizures disorders including epilepsy, spinal cord disorders, and speech and language disorders. Neurologists themselves do not perform surgery and if a patient needs surgery, they refer them to a neurosurgeon.
Psychiatrist A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who trained in diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of mental, behavioral, and emotional disorders including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, eating disorders, and substance use disorders. Psychiatrists provide a wide range of treatments including psychological treatment also called psychotherapy or talking therapy, medication, and brain stimulation therapies such as electroconvulsive therapy. Psychiatrists assess all of the mental and physical symptoms by examining mental or physical status, brain imaging such as a computerized tomography (CT), or positron emission tomography (PET) scan, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and blood testing.

Psychotherapist Psychotherapists are the doctors trained in treating people for emotional problems and mental problems by using psychological approaches. A psychotherapist can be a psychologist, psychiatrist, or social worker (among others), depending upon their academic degree. Psychotherapy treats the personal difficulties of the patients. It allows the patient to talk confidentially and openly about their feelings and thoughts with a trained professional. Some of the therapies used by the psychotherapist for the treatment of emotional and behavioral problems are cognitive behavioral therapy, systemic therapies, hypno-psychotherapy, experiential constructivist therapies, and humanistic or integrative psychotherapies.
Somnologist Somnology is the field which involves scientific study of sleep. It includes diagnoses, treatment, and study of sleep irregularities and disorders. Somnologists are the doctors trained or educated in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders. They diagnose patients by asking the patients to record a two-week sleep diary that involves the details of how much time they sleep and how their sleep was interrupted. Along with this, the doctor also performs the physical examination of the lung, throat, and heart. To solve the issues regarding sleep, patients need to change their lifestyle by exercising, losing weight, darkening their rooms, or cutting back on coffee.
