Prosthodontist (also known as a dental prosthetics or prosthetic dentistry) is a dentist who specializes in the diagnosis, rehabilitation, treatment planning, and maintenance of the oral function, and clinical conditions associated with missing or deficient teeth and maxillofacial tissues. Prosthodontists are highly trained in dental implants, cosmetics, crowns, dentures, bridges, and temporomandibular disorders.
